Amarillo and Five Sigma partner to connect claims management and delegated authority data
The partnership combines specialist claims management and bordereaux technology to improve data quality, reduce manual work and strengthen oversight across the delegated authority chain.

In our continued ambition to help more customers go beyond bordereaux, we’re delighted to announce a new partnership and technical integration with Five Sigma, the AI-native claims management platform provider, welcoming them to our PartnerOrbit.
Alongside integrating their claims management system with Fusion, we’ll work together to develop new business opportunities that help even more MGAs, brokers, insurers and reinsurers experience the benefits better data brings.
Why we have partnered with Five Sigma
A critical element of our mission to help customers experience these benefits is ensuring Fusion works effectively with other specialist platforms across the insurance value chain.
Five Sigma’s claims management system supports the claims lifecycle, from first notification of loss (FNOL) through to settlement, bringing together claims expertise and AI-driven capabilities to help claims teams and adjusters process claims more efficiently.
Claims information is an important part of understanding binder performance. When it sits separately from bordereaux and other reporting data, bringing everything together can require additional work and leave gaps in visibility. This partnership seeks to close these gaps.
How does the Amarillo and Five Sigma partnership and integration benefit customers?
The integration between Fusion and Five Sigma simplifies the flow of claims data into delegated authority reporting, reducing the need for manual transfer. This improved flow leads to:
Better oversight: Bringing claims information together with other delegated authority data can give coverholders and insurers a clearer picture of binder performance and exposure, supporting better-informed decisions about risk and loss performance.
More reliable data: Reducing the need to re-enter claims details can help prevent errors and inconsistencies, giving the people relying on the resulting reports greater confidence in the information.
Less time spent on processing: A technical integration can reduce the work involved in transferring and checking data, leaving teams more time to focus on using it.
Lower operational costs: Re-keying information, reconciling discrepancies and resolving data queries all take time. Reducing these tasks helps businesses make better use of their people and resources.
Stronger delegated authority oversight: Timely, reliable claims data can support closer monitoring of DA arrangements, help stakeholders investigate discrepancies and provide a stronger basis for managing compliance.
Understanding claims performance is an important part of the wider picture for any delegated authority business. The challenge is bringing that information together with the other data insurers and MGAs rely on, in a way that doesn’t create extra work. Our integration with Five Sigma is a step towards making those connections easier. Zoe Steele, Managing Director, Amarillo
For Five Sigma, the partnership addresses the challenge of modernising claims processes when information is spread across systems:
Fragmented data and manual processes can make it harder for insurers and MGAs to modernise claims, especially in the London Market’s delegated authority business. Amarillo’s deep expertise in this area, and working together gives customers support across both claims management and DA reporting. Michael Krikheli, CTO and co-founder, Five Sigma
Why is integration so important to the industry
As insurance businesses adopt more automation and AI, how their technology works together becomes increasingly important. Even excellent systems can leave teams bridging the gaps if they remain disconnected.
Insurers, MGAs and brokers need the flexibility to choose tools that suit their own operations. A single platform won’t necessarily meet every need; specialist systems let businesses build a technology stack around the way they work, provided those systems can share information effectively.
It's the direction Lloyd’s CEO Patrick Tiernan outlined earlier this year when he described it as “an ecosystem of intelligent solutions, built on common data standards and interoperability.”
This principle informs how we develop Fusion and continue to build its integrations, like the Amarillo and Five Sigma partnership. Something Amarillo’s Chief Growth Officer Amechi Peirce-Howe, sees as vital as move further into a post-Blueprint 2 landscape:
Working in effective partnerships like this one with Five Sigma allows us to solve even more of our customers’ problems, and reduces so much of the friction that has constrained delegated authority operations for so long. We look forward to developing this partnership further.
As we continue our drive to make bordereaux better, a bright vision for delegated authority operations comes ever closer.
